My ultimate goal is to make my classroom fun. I know that ELA isn't always a student's idea of a good time. But I want to change that with interaction thru games, allowing my kids to get up and browse a classroom library, use technology to improve their literacy, and give them notebooks that were left off our supply list but that they desperately need and most can't afford. I'm a first-year teacher at a Title I school. I want my kids to not worry about their supplies or having a book to read during independent reading if it's not their library week. I want them to be able to follow along with me using a document camera. I want the class to be fun, using buzzers for games and connecting with their fellow teammates at their desks. I want so much for them...and like so many out there, I can't provide it all.
