My students will be able to work hands on with the objectives they are learning. The manipulatives will help make abstract ideas concrete. They will be able to connect concepts in a variety of different ways. The manipulatives will help me reach the different ways students learn. The manipulatives will also allow my students to take ownership in their learning. When they are struggling with a concept they will be able to reach for the tiles or circles or other tools to help them arrive at the answer on their own. This will help build their confidence and will allow them different avenues to their learning.
