The items chosen for my multi-age 1st and 2nd grade classroom will give students the opportunity to choose where in the classroom they are able to focus on learning and be comfortable. Students are more engaged in their work and less disruptive when they are given a choice of where to work. The STEM materials chosen give students a variety of items to build and create using their imagination to perform a task. These items allow small town kids to create projects that prepare them for bigger dreams that lay ahead of every one of them. Quality texts within a classroom helps build character and give examples of ways to create a learning from experiences.
