My goal is to use creativity to have my newcomers and English Life learners develop fluency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Most of my students are either new to the United States, have learning disabilities, and are life long learners. Through the use of these materials, and items, I want to light the spark of creativity and make their experiences more meaningful. Developing confidence through presenting their projects, developing the process to publish their work (using the materials such as card stock, markers, to create a collage, or a visual representation of themselves through laminating their art work as well as their writing), having artistic products to present as themselves is important to me, as a supplemental English teacher.
