I want to give my students the opportunity to not just learn, but thrive in their learning environment; whether they are in school or at home! Many of my students come from low-income families who are trying to survive day by day during a pandemic that has touched all of us. My project will provide children the opportunity to be fully engaged as they enhance their overall development and learning, through the use of fun, educational materials. Each child will have their own backpack, filled with valuable materials and resources that will give hours of learning experiences for them to enjoy. This will give my students the tools they will need as I provide a virtual classroom during such a difficult, unsure time, or if parents choose to have their child attend in-school instruction.
