Students will have the choice to use flexible seating options and sensory tools as they engage in classroom activities and complete tasks. These items will assist students in implementing the skills they have learned in the Second Steps program to manage both emotions and behaviors as they work within the classroom. The addition of wiggle cushions, wobble stools, and bean bags will give students flexible seating options, while at the same time providing the opportunity to move about while working. Giving students the option to use sensory items like fidgets can help them focus or manage anxious behaviors as they work, grow, and learn.

About my class
