The tablets are for students to use in a variety of ways. They will be used for Reading, Science, Social Studies and Math Centers. We will use them to do some voice and video recordings. They will allow more students to be practicing skills at one time. With the tablets I want them to allow the students to show their creativity and imagination. I have been looking up tons of apps for kids to use that boots their skills in a variety of areas. Calendar Math Journals allow us to have daily practice with a wide variety of skills. I have seen how much these journals improve mathematical thinking in 6/7-year-olds. It is really mind-blowing! I have been working super hard this summer to fill up my FIRST first-grade room. I have already bought a lot of things out of my pocket to make our room and an amazing place to learn and I appreciate anything that you are willing to donate!
