My goal is to receive a classroom set (32) Chromebooks in order to fully expose my students in the technology atmosphere that is required of them through the state. Having daily use of technology practice provides a comfort level during testing time. It will also help reach all students with differentiation. Some ways that I can use Chromebooks with differentiation are text read aloud, speech to text, quick and 1 on 1 feedback, as well as familiarizing students with the tools that are provided on the test. In my classroom, my goal as a teacher is to allow students to be as successful as they can not only academically but also in real life situations. I believe these Chromebooks are the best way to set them up for success. It is critical that the students are comfortable with investigating online and then formulating answers on the computer.
