Picture this: 28 Energetic 5/6 year olds all in one classroom for 6+ hours a day all working with one teacher, and sitting still in a seat. Now imagine you, as an adult, sitting still in a chair for 6+ hours a day with no way to release your boredom and energy, and the lack of focus you quickly have. If adults can’t sit still for a day, why would we ever except children too-all while having high academic expectations in place?!? Please help my students in receiving their first flexible seating options, the bouncy ball (chairs) to allow them comfort and choice in their seating. These balls will enable my students to exert their energy in a way that excites and engages them in the lesson/activity at hand while increasing their focus!
