If provided, these devices will be used to ensure my students have current information at their fingertips at all times to assist their learning process. The use of individual technological devices in the classroom to enhance students’ learning experiences is essential. My students would benefit from devices for collaborative group work, creating projects, displaying projects, research, differentiated instruction and communication. Students will be able to create multi-media assignments to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of taught subject matter. The students will be able to utilize information at their fingertips when learning new concepts. My students will have the ability to creatively communicate with one another, their teachers, parents and community stakeholders about what they have learned. Additionally, a set of devices will increase my students’ technological accessibility in the classroom. Due to the fact that not all students have technology access at home, utilizing technology in the classroom will prepare them for a more technologically advanced future.
