I want my classroom to be a place where students can succeed in all subjects, especially reading. I strive to create an environment where students discover their most comfortable learning style. By building up my classroom library, students will be able to choose books that they like and enjoy independent reading. All other materials will be used to help create and maintain positive behavior systems in the classroom, specifically the peace corner. I will be able to print calming coloring pages and expand our zones of regulation chart in which students and I self-identify our mood as the day progresses.
