These contemporary and classical plays and musicals will aid my students in their knowledge of Theater History in order to become educated and knowledgeable performers. These foundational plays will help my students immensely when they begin writing their own plays and one-acts during our second semester! The plays/anthologies/musicals I am requesting will allow my Theater students the ability to immerse themselves in plays written by people of all different races, genders, creeds, and sexual orientations. With the generous addition of the requested plays, my students will be able to select and perform scenes and monologues from plays in which they can identify themselves.

About my class
