The creative materials I am requesting will put smiles on my students’ faces. Being a kindergartener during COVID isn't easy. Even with in person learning there aren't the "regular" opportunities for sharing, cooperating and playing together during center time or some much needed free choice time as a in regular year. The creative building and manipulative learning activities I have chosen will keep my kindergarteners minds challenged and hands busy as they socially distance themselves within the classroom. Without a doubt, hands-on learning and exploration is the best for children- these easily sanitized and highly engaging activities are what we need to enjoy the fun of kindergarten and maintain the safety of our children. I am continually amazed at how well my students are adapting and would LOVE to provide them with more opportunities for them to learn by doing.
