Many of the items I requested are basic pencils, markers, and glue for the students to explore their creativity and fully participate in class projects. Unfortunately there are several students in Third Grade who can still not tell time, the clock will help me visually explain our math lessons. Classroom privacy partitions are essential in any classroom that wants to foster independence and accountability for their students. The chart paper will be used for students to create projects and will be used in the first week to create a class contract for the rest of the year. As a first year teacher with a class with a wide range of needs, I need help creating a classroom environment in the first week that will lead to a successful year. Even the small items listed such as pencils and glue will make a world of a difference in a classroom with essentially no materials.
