These picture books will help me in teaching my students skills in context. Each book will teach a variety of reading and language skills. My students will be able to grow their reading skills through the use of these books. The students will go on an adventure with me in reading. We will dig deep into these books and learn a variety of both reading and language skills. These books will also help me introduce my students into the world of writing. These books are part of a program called Rooted in Reading and I have seen this program work in a fellow teacher's classroom and I am SO excited to go on this adventure with my students.
