The materials will make a difference in my students' learning by motivating them to display appropriate behavior. Over time I will lessen the rewards and raise expectations. As students achieve success in my class they learn to be motivated by their own achievements. By means of using "Honey Money", students are rewarded when they promote positive and appropriate behavior in the classroom and all areas of the school. When they display the appropriate expectations they are allowing teachers to concentrate on lesson content and interactive activities to indulge students in learning as opposed to focusing on classroom discipline. These snacks will be an added incentive to my rich-academic classroom that I strive to create for my students. They will be able to choose from a variety of snacks to help enhance their experiences and make a difference in their learning and behavior. When you feed the body, you feed the mind! A win, win situation!
