These resources can help my students in various ways. The sensory items (chews, fidgets, etc) will support students with Autism and ADHD to stay focused and overstimulation. Many of my students also struggle with motor skills and thick pencils and/or writing grips help them in their writing. I have also asked for wobble seats, which are great for all kids who need to "wiggle while they work". Besides focus and motor skills, my students also struggle with academics and some have social/behavioral. Items like the letter matching manipulative, give students a different way to access the content. Teaching appropriate social skills is also an important part of the day and the different visuals and activities will help support students in learning these skills.
