This year I have a lot of different leveled readers! I want to make sure that each of my students have access to books at their level. My goal with these donorschoose.org materials is to: -be able to sort the books by level using the various bins so they are easier for my kiddos to find. -reorganize our classroom library to make it both bright and functional for my readers. -get the kiddos reading faster by cutting down on the time spent in the library looking for their "just right" book level. -get readers of all levels excited about reading! As mentioned, the Units of Study in reading that we use in our classroom stresses the importance of reading being a fun activity in the classroom. Without these materials students may either, struggle through reading and become frustrated with books that are above their reading level, or struggle to find books due to a lack of leveled organization in the classroom library. With your contributions, you can help us set up a reading library that is both functional and stress free that we use for all of our reading units throughout the year!
