Our students LOVE science! They work really hard to master all the material we ask of them, but making it more hands on will take their learning to a new level. These materials will allow them to experience chemistry and do calculations firsthand, just like the budding scientists they are! All of our 8th graders learn the hardest concepts from high school science classes to make it easier for them when they get there (and therefore more likely to stay in rigorous classes when in high school). They'll learn stoichiometry in chemistry, calculate velocities using trigonometry in physics, and dissect animals this year in biology! After they're done, they'll write lab reports on their findings, as all great scientists do!
