Organization is equally important for me and for my students. Knowing where classroom items can be found and where they need to be returned reduces stress and unnecessary searching. From experience I can unequivocally say that an organized classroom runs more smoothly and is far more efficient in the long run. Most importantly it allows my students to focus on their learning. In assessing my state of organization, I look to my colleagues for support and suggestions that work. I like to place identifying labels on bins and their corresponding "place of rest" in the classroom. Additional shelving will provide that availability.
