Students will be timed every day working on their math facts. At the beginning of the year, we will start with addition, move to subtract, and end with multiplication and division. These fine point markers will help save the paper as we have students practicing on plastic sheets. We also practice reading passages every day. Students are timed for one minute to see how many words they can read. Students will use these timers to practice individually. When they are timed by an adult, after practicing by themselves, they will feel more comfortable. These timers will really help these students!
