As part of the continued effort to generate a well-rounded student, our school offers a weight training course to supplement good physical health practices among our students. The weight training course at our school focuses on the general principals of healthy, safe, and effective programs to foster gains in physical fitness as muscular strength and muscular endurance. One of the centerpieces to any good weight training program is the squat. As an overall body strengthening exercise that incorporates multiple muscle groups and builds the body's biggest muscles, it is a keystone of all types of strength training. A working squat machine will greatly improve the student experience in the weight training program as it gives not only more options to the students and athletes, but it will allow students with less overall strength to safely perform an exercise that is often difficult to do as a free weight movement.
