The Book Nook is a unique space created in my classroom to encourage students to read. Everything in this space has been chosen for the purpose of enticing students. I envision a classroom with a space where students can choose to sit on a carpet or a stool with padding. A room with warm lighting, paintings, and other artifacts that welcome students in​ captures their attention with books, and says to them, "Come Read for Enjoyment". I converted a closet into a book nook that will house all of the things that students need to encourage them to explore the world through reading.
