When students can share their problem solving and critical thinking for other students to see and learn from, they build confidence in their mathematical ability. Having a projector connected to my smartboard will allow students to show how they solved the problem. This allows me as their teacher to see misconceptions. We can work through the problems together and it makes learning more meaningful for the students. It warms my heart to see them grasp difficult concepts in math. Having confidence in mathematical reasoning opens doors for future career choices. As their teacher I want to see all of their dreams come true.
