I am a first year teacher so I do not have the means to provide my students with the library they deserve. This collection of books will allow me to provide my students with a diverse selection of literature and in return will influence their love of reading. My students come from diverse backgrounds and home lives that impact their ability to enjoy reading outside of the classroom. I would love to provide them with a safe space in my classroom where they can choose a book that interests them and takes their mind to a new level of curiosity.
