These materials will be used throughout my math and science classes as students work in small groups. We learn about the engineering process and how engineers design, build, and test. These toys will help students to solve problems through building and designing. They will also help students learn how to visualize, read 3-D diagrams, and recreate models. These materials will help students model real life problem solving skills. So many tasks today require adults to cooperate with others both educational and in the work force. It is important for students to learn how to work together, communicate with one another, and listen to one another's ideas as they work together. Participating in STEM activities such as these will help develop those skills.
