My students are really curious and are constantly using manipulatives to ignite their creativity. STEM materials such as pattern blocks, linking cubes, wooden cubes, play-doh, cups, foam balls and magnetic tile blocks will be used in my classroom to enhance students' knowledge and education of STEM. There will be twenty, pre-made STEM bin choices, each filled with different materials, task cards and writing prompts. Each student will be able to choose a STEM bin in which they are interested in, and use the STEM process to become an inventor. By introducing and using STEM bins, I am hoping my students will develop a passion for science, technology, engineering and mathematics to become critical thinkers and valuable employees in their future careers.
