I am asking for funding for a class set of books that will help the students understand and live History. I teach a blended History/English class and these books will help my students live through the founding of the James Town Colony. We will use these books, year after year, as I plan to continue teaching and pass on knowledge to my future students. I will use these books as an English reading source while we are studying early American history. This helps me blend the curriculum and strengthen my students reading skills and understanding of American History. My students will also be able to build a connection between the story of a young man in colonial American.
