Our 6th graders will be going on a journey in to the history of various religions around the world. We will be learning and reflecting on how we as a nation honor some religions and build obstacles for others. Students will be creating art showcasing how love can conquer hate through the art of printmaking. Activist artist in the bay area use printmaking as the main way to get their message across to a wide audience. I want my students to use the tools activist use to make a change in the community. Using the tools of the trade will be a powerful experience!

About my class
