Students at our school have not had high quality materials or a consistent art class in the past years. My students struggle with feeling proud of what they have created and are hesitant to try new concepts. These materials would give my students an opportunity to grow in their creativity and artistic skills. When students are able to focus on the idea and the project itself, rather than the quality of the materials, they will able to grow as artists and fully express their creativity. With these materials, we will be able to create artworks that are intertwined with their classroom lessons and units.

About my class
