This project includes some LEGOs which will be used to recreate maps and geographical information in a fun and innovative way. Not only will this be fun but it will reinforce geographical and map literacy skills! The books are all about Oklahoma and its history which will allow the children to read independently and feed their curiosity for Oklahoma's rich story. Some include authors from our home state while some are about our home state. The kids have expressed interest in these titles and I would like to provide some copies for them to check out and enjoy. The atlas are for the kids to use next semester as we undertake the awesome subject of World Geography. I have requested a class set for each student to use or check out for homework.
