Having iPads will allow all students access to the rich instructional materials available through technology. Some of our students have iPads and computers at home that allow for deep research and exploration. Having them in class will allow those without access at home the opportunity to explore technology at school. Providing Kindergarteners with cutting edge technology in their beginning school experience will foster a foundation of a love of learning. Having additional iPads in the classroom would allow teachers to provide enrichment opportunities to groups of students. Our students with the highest need would have access to programs that will help to reteach and will provide meaningful, engaging practice. Providing iPads as a means of remediation will also allow students access to activities to strengthen areas of weakness.
