We will use our classroom rug during our whole group instructional time. The class will gather on the rug for Reading and Language Arts time, during whole group discussions. The rug will also be utilized during literacy stations and will allow a comfortable seating arrangement for the students on the floor. We will use the small clocks to focus on time to the hour and minute with hands-on materials. Children will work with a partner and a small clock to demonstrate time and display the time in a whole group setting, and in small Math groups too. I will use the small clocks during my remediation minutes daily with struggling students.
