The materials I selected will help all varieties of learners and age groups at my school to create and experience different mediums in art. The hand held palm crayons will help students draw in class without frustration. The magnetic building set, pom poms and chenille stems will add excitement to the art centers, where students can create and build imaginative objects. We frequently photograph the finished pieces so we can document the students’ work before having to deconstruct them. I selected canvases, brushes and new acrylic paints so first and second grade students can experience painting on canvas. They will create a personal art piece that will have lasting memories of their early childhood art experiences!
