Having flexible seating options in my classroom will help my students to redirect their energy, yet still allow them to stay focused and pay attention. Any person who has to sit for most of the day usually has to get up and move their bodies. I've noticed my students standing up and complaining that they are uncomfortable. Flexible seating will help my classroom function better. These seats are small and can be easily moved throughout the room to assist both students at their seats and throughout the day. Also, they can be arranged near me during small group sessions. By receiving flexible seating the students have options to sit in multiple locations throughout the room, Many of the chairs that are provided to the students are broken and old, and these materials are exactly what I need to make the environment more comfortable.
