I would like a classroom rug for the students to use to gather together each day. We will come together for stories, sharing, and instruction. I plan to use the area everyday, multiple times a day. I want to promote a sense of community and family in my classroom for my students. I believe this will help them to feel safe, secure, and included in our classroom. I want every child to feel like they have a safe and supportive place in our classroom where they can share ideas, learn and enjoy their education. Every classroom needs a place for the kids to come together and share.
