In First Grade, the expectations are high. With your help, I can provide an environment that will engage my students in a way that a standard classroom cannot. I firmly believe in active bodies results in active learning. My students will develop the autonomy to determine what seating they need in order to be successful. It is with your support that I would be able to provide standard chairs with bouncy bands that help those who need to constantly be kicking, wiggling or feel the resistance on their feet. The seated cushions will provide a more comfortable alternative and double as a balance disc. Wobble Chairs of course help develop the necessary core muscles our students are lacking the direct effect their academic endeavors.
