I will attend multiple sessions to the Southeastern Reading Recovery and Early Literacy Conference to enhance my understanding of early literacy practices. By learning new techniques and strategies, my students will become better engaged in the reading process. Students will go to the next grade level with a strong foundation of literacy skills. Sharing new ideas with fellow teachers at my school will allow me to offer new and exciting ways of learning to reach all students regardless of social, emotional or economic status. Multiple classrooms of children can benefit from information learned at the conference allowing improved test scores.

About my class
