If I were to receive the iPads, my classroom would benefit greatly because of the many different backgrounds and knowledge my students have of history. The iPads would help me to provide multiple learning resources for all of my students and their differing backgrounds. There are many different applications available to these iPads that would further enrich and support topics of history, geography, and social sciences that would greatly benefit each one of my students. These iPads would also allow the students to have another means to complete research projects, play academic games, and be another tool to engage students in their learning of history and geography. I would use iPads for group work, independent learning, and a study resource for students who need extra help and/or students who would benefit from alternate resources and enrichment opportunities if they have mastered the content being covered. Overall, having two iPads to add to my classroom would allow me to provide more engaging opportunities and more academic technology to my students.
