My students come from rough households so I love making my classroom a welcoming home for them to come and learn each and everyday. I know when I was a student I learned best and achieved more in the classrooms that allowed me to create and be myself and get comfortable, so I want my students to do the same. Math can be an intimidating subject for kiddos and I want them to come in my room and feel the freedom to explore and use a multitude of materials so that they can learn at their own pace and discover a love for numbers!

About my class
