Do you remember hunting for your next book in your classroom only to be disappointed that there was nothing new? Perhaps you loved reading and had already devoured each of those books and were wishing for something different. Maybe you really didn’t enjoy reading and hoped your teacher would add something that sounded interesting. Your teacher may have had a book from a series that you absolutely loved reading, only to find out that he or she didn’t have the next book in the series! No matter what kind of reader you were, we can both agree that a library full of options for all kinds of readers is the best! I strive to ignite a lifelong love of learning within each of my students- a thirst for knowledge that can only be quenched by books! My students love to read and have been asking for all kinds of books that I don’t have and just can’t afford to provide in a timely manner. It is only my second year teaching and I want to be able to provide them with the best learning environment possible. Please help me provide them with a vibrant classroom library with more books to choose from.
