This project is all about saving room in my classroom so that my students can move more freely and safely around the room. My classroom is in a portable and it is a smaller space then a normal size classroom. There is not a lot of storage space so my walls are lined with bookcases and bins. The stools that I have put on here will provide my students with flexible seating that will give them the opportunity to do activities in a variety of areas. This will also allow me to save on space in our room. When you cram books, book cases, bins, supplies, up to 30 students, desks, chairs and a teacher into a portable there is not much leftover room. I do the best to keep excess out of my room but with all the different learning abilities you need different materials. So I am hoping to save some space by using these stools at various work areas in my room. Any help you can give with giving my students this flexible seating is greatly appreciated.
