With each student having access to their own headphones to use with their laptops during class will allow them to view Social Studies content, daily online news sources that will enhance their understanding of local, state, national and world events; as well as research content knowledge for project based learning. Learners will engage in audio and visual learning experiences that will provide greater chances to gain relevant background and cultural knowledge of people, places and cultures around the world. Students will be able to close a gap that hinders their learning of complex social students content. This will promote their reading, writing and critical thinking skills as they strive to meet target learning goals.
