The iPod will help engage my students in warm-up activities, lessons, and our dance unit by getting them moving to popular kid songs. Music has a way of brightening everyone’s day! Students starting the day on a sour note can sing loudly and to get their emotions out and go on to have a great day! The scooters and hopscotch materials will help students work on their 21st century skills: collaboration, communication and cooperation. While the students are actively engaged in using the equipment they will understand the benefits of exercise and good health. It is my hope that this understanding of exercise for good health will stay with then throughout their life.

About my class
