In a First Grade class, the kids spend a lot of time on the rug! Hopefully, we can all remember sitting on the rug in our early classrooms listening to our teachers read a book, or getting close when someone brings something cool for show and tell, or even just spending time on the rug for some comfy independent reading time. The rug is a place to meet in my classroom. Its where we spend a lot of our time. I'd love to provide a comfy, inviting and clean rug for my students to collect on. I'd also like the oppotunity to provide a warmer classroom for my kids. I work in a school that use to be a warehouse before housing learners. As a former warehouse, our school has concrete floors and few windows. Our class has no window at all. I try my hardest to make the class a warm and natural enviornment and now would like your help in this effort. Thank you!
