The items on my list are needed to help provide my students with a comfortable and safe environment with reduced distractions. All of my students have learning disabilities and need to be able to put as much focus on learning as possible. Some items like the flex bands and the rug provide flexible seating options. Students will be able to sit on the rug to work or they may choose to put a band on their chair so that their feet can fidget without distracting others. The phone charging stations will give students a safe place to put their phone while it's charging and remove that distraction. Charging stations will go at my desk so students feel safe about leaving their phones.
