My project is a flexible seating project , I have spent my summer collecting items for my classroom. I was able to collect a church pew, two bedrest pillows, four lap desk, a rectangular table, podium, and a stool. For my project to be complete: I am still in need of a rug, that will allow the students to have a special seating area for the bedrest pillows and lap desk. I will also need two stools for the rectangular table. Should we be able to get these items to complete our alternative learning area my students will be blessed with an opportunity to learn in a comfortable setting. I believe the outcome this project will be to provide students with a comfortable place to read, therefore increase their desire to read independently.
