Our classroom is essentially our home away from home, and I want to make sure that my students feel welcomed, inspired, loved, and motivated when they walk through our classroom door each morning. My goal with this project is to furnish our classroom with items that will help make the students feel more like they are at home, as well as to provide flexible seating options to give them more control over where they are learning in the classroom. By giving my students the option of flexible seating they will be able to choose where they learn, keeping them actively engaged and focused throughout the entire lesson. The storage cart with drawers will allow for my students to keep their school supplies together and organized. When things are organized it leads to less disruption and more opportunities for learning in the classroom. With help from donors like you, my students will soon have a classroom that truly feels like home and the option of flexible seating in the classroom!
