My name is Sharon Hadley. I am a K-4th self-contained classroom teacher in Southeast Arkansas. This is my 14th year as a special needs teacher. My students struggle with hyperactivity, inattentiveness, impulse control, sensory issues, etc. on a daily basis. My students have been asked to adjust to a one-size-fits-all world. I want my classroom to be an oasis of calm and peace where my students can be comfortable being different. I would like to relieve my students by alleviating some of their challenges that are uncontrollable. Resources such as therabands, lap bands, move-and-sit cushions, an area rug, stability ball chairs, fidget pencil toppers and egg chairs would improve the quality of life for each of my students. My students and I would greatly appreciate your support and understanding. Thank you so much!!!
