By donating, you are the direct seed into forming life long readers! You can’t imagine the wealth of goodness that will then be passed on to their generations. One child at a time! The goal is to grow each student not only academically but emotionally strong. As a class, we absolutely love Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) time. It’s a time when we dim the lights, get our pillows and blankets, find our spot, and enjoy our books using our flashlights. We will connect the stories to our lives and take root. Story time is crucially important because this bonds to their emotions and memories. This year we will also incorporate journaling about our reading. This will tie together our reading and writing. Help us grow and produce amazing fruit!
